Connecting to 'British Columbia Community Networks Association' by Telnet

Telneting to BCCNA

'British Columbia Community Networks Association' is a recognized domain on the Internet. To access BCCNA by telnet, use a telnet program.

The command differs from system to system:

From the Unix command line you can issue two commands:

$ telnet
$ open hp.bccna.bc.ca

If you have set up a graphic browser to call a telnet client you can usually enter a telnet command as you would any other url.

telnet://hp.bccna.bc.ca

After connecting to 'British Columbia Community Networks Association' you can login using your BCCNA account or...login as guest (until you get your own account)

Ending a Telnet Session

To end a CSuite session, use the 'q' command, and enter 'y' (for yes) at the prompt:

Are you sure you want to quit? [N]
