The event is shaping up to be exceptionally exciting. The BCCNA Spring Conference will run from Saturday, March 17 until after lunch Sunday, March 18. As the Learning Community Conference is also slated to start that weekend, running through to the 20th, it was thought to merge the two events. The diverse needs of our memberships, many of whom will be participating in both events, has resulted in "blended" conferences. This will allow for the maximizing of co-funding opportunities available for keynote speakers and resource people to help us understand things i.e. "Community Fiber Optic Networks". The Board of TeleCommunities Canada will be in session at the same time and that they will serve as resource people as well.

Some travel subsidies, as in previous years, will be available once again. Three hundred dollars base rate, subject to availability.
